Can I just have one peel to improve my skin?

It is possible to have a single peel treatment, but we recommend a course of peels (usually 6) to really see the long-term skin benefits. Much like with fitness, the best results appear when you commit to an ongoing programme.

It is safe to wear makeup?

Yes the day after the treatment.

Does it hurt?

You will feel a slight tingly sensation and maybe some warmth to the area. The deeper the peel the stronger the sensation. Your therapist will be checking you are comfortable throughout by asking you your comfort level throughout the treatment.

Are peels for everyone?

Chemical peels are suitable for almost everyone and we have a varied range including a Sensitive Peel.  We  do not recommend peels for pregnant or nursing Mums.

Can peels be used alongside other treatments?

Absolutely.

What is the downtime and what should i avoid post peel?

The skin may have redness, skin flaking and mild peeling; but every skin is different.

• Our aftercare is simple:

• No makeup for the first 24 hours post-peel

• No working out for at least 24 hours.

• Follow the 3-day post care routine to ensure your skin recovers and rejuvenates correctly.

• Avoid direct sun exposure during these recovery days and always wear an SPF 30.

• As a general rule, expect flaking from around the 3rd day post-peel for a maximum of 5 further days.

• Do not pick any flaking skin, allow to flake naturally.

• No Steam room, sauna, swimming for 24 hours.

Do i need to prep my skin?

Yes, for a minimum of 2 weeks. Your therapist will advise you, what preparation you need depending on which peel you are having.
